At Green Spark Environmental we are a growing Water and Drainage Utilities business. We specialise in bespoke pollution prevention, drainage and environmental services with blue chip, multi-site organisations, particularly contract logistics, food manufacturing, warehousing and FM providers. We fix, audit, report, recommend and manage works to support our client’s environmental operations and compliance.
You will be responsible for all aspects of servicing and repairing pumped drainage systems such as wastewater and surface water pumping stations, booster sets and related equipment such as control panels and pipe work. You will need to have a proven track record of mechanical and electrical experience on these types of systems and be able to demonstrate an acceptable level of knowledge. You will work in a field service capacity, covering various sites servicing, repairing, and maintaining pump systems.
Pumping stations on foul and storm water systems are largely located on private sites. You may be working as part of a team and involved in other drainage works such as jetting/CCTV/mapping or minor civils so flexibility to work across disciplines will be required.
It will be expected that the successful candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in a pump servicing role and will be able to complete their work with little to no supervision. The role will take you all over the country and at times you will need to stay away from home.
