Green Spark is seeking a dedicated and experienced Civils Delivery Manager to join our growing team. This pivotal role is responsible for managing, developing, and delivering our programme of works across our Civils and Groundworks teams.
You’ll be working with a range of high‑profile clients, including recognised blue‑chip brands, and supporting the expansion of our services as we move into partnerships with Tier 1 construction companies within the water utilities sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of civils and groundworks projects, including site surveys, quoting and estimating, and producing client-facing project plans and proposals.
- Work Delivery: Manage the delivery of works on-site, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards and handling any variations to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Client Experience: Ensure a seamless end-to-end client experience, from initial contact through to project completion.
- Financial Oversight: Hold full P&L responsibility for civils and groundworks activities, managing budgets of approximately £1.0 – £1.5 million per annum.
- Team Management: Oversee the performance, absence, pay, holidays, and recruitment of civils crews. Currently, we operate two civils crews with potential for expansion.
- Business Development: Leverage strong networks and enthusiasm for business development to help grow this side of the business.
Typical Projects Include:
- Installing wash bays and interceptor tanks
- Diverting effluent drainage from storm water systems
- Repairing structural drainage defects
Requirements:
- Experience in managing similar projects
- Strong ambition and business development skills
- Some flexibility in working hours, including early, mid, and later shifts across the days worked
- Willingness to travel and potentially stay overnight for site visits
