We’re looking for a hands-on, proactive Fleet Mechanic to take ownership of our growing fleet and keep our vehicles—and our business—moving. What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll hit the ground running and immediately take responsibility for improving the reliability, condition, and performance of our fleet.
- Respond to vehicle breakdowns by getting our vehicles back on the road ASAP and keep business disruption to a minimum.
- Service all tankers which includes conducting full inspections and servicing to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance.
- Support our telematics systems for better fleet visibility and utilisation
- Identify what repairs we can manage in-house vs what needs outsourcing.
- Review and improve the CCTV van and Tanker fleet ensuring optimal functionality and professional presentation of our fleet
Who We’re Looking For
You’ll be a great fit if you:
- Have experience as a mechanic, fleet engineer, plant fitter, or similar role
- Have experience in working with JHL, RTN and Whale tankers (even better if you have ADR knowledge)
- Have experience maintaining drain jetting equipment
- Can work independently and solve problems quickly
- Are confident diagnosing issues and carrying out repairs
- Understand vehicle electrics, hydraulics, or telematics (advantageous)
- Take pride in organising tools, parts, and workspaces
- Care about safety, compliance, and quality workmanship
